Enramycin B is a lipopeptide antibiotic that has been found in S. fungicidicus.1,2 It also inhibits avian myeloblastosis virus reverse transcriptase by 70% when used at a concentration of 40 µg/ml in a cell-free assay.2 Formulations containing enramycin B have been used as feed additives to prevent bacterial necrotic enteritis in livestock.WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
