4% (w/v) Formaldehyde from Cell Signaling Technology is a ready-to-use fixative agent for fluorescent immunocytochemical and flow cytometry assays. It is formulated in 1X PBS, methanol-free, prepared from high-quality paraformaldehyde, and packaged under an inert atmosphere of nitrogen.

Product Usage Information

Apply directly to cells or tissue to achieve fixation with 4% formaldehyde. This product may be diluted with 1X PBS to enable fixation with a lower percentage of formaldehyde if desired. For best results, follow the antibody-specific protocol to identify the optimal concentration and duration of formaldehyde fixation.
