Bisphenol is a diglycidyl ether (BADGE) can inhibit the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPARγ) and adipocyte differentiation, and has been shown to induce apoptosis in tumor cells. Research shows that BADGE can suppress the tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and that it has the ability to induce F-actin depolymerization.
