Goat anti-ECS (DYKDDDDK) Tag Antibody Affinity Purified

Antibody was isolated by affinity chromatography using the peptide immobilized on solid support.Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.By ELISA, Western blot and Immunofluorescence, this antibody reacts with FLAG™.

The entereokinase cleavage site (ECS) tag is an epitope tag with the sequence DYKDDDDK. Its hydrophobic nature helps to maintain the structural integrity of the protein to which it is appended. Further, its nature as a kinase cleavage site allows for its removal from the recombinant protein if needed.
