Fc receptor blocking
3μg (1μl/test) per million cells in 100μl volume

FcR Blocking Reagent is a specialized reagent used in flow cytometry experiments to prevent non-specific binding between the Fc segment of antibodies and Fc receptors (FcRs) on the cell surface. This is crucial to avoid false positive or negative results in immunofluorescence staining.

Flow cytometric analysis of human PBMC (human peripheral blood mononuclear cell) labeling Rabbit monoclonal IgG Isotype after incubated for 30 min on ice in PBS (Right) compared with Human FcR Blocking Reagent at 1/100 (1 µg, 1x10^6 in 100 μL) dilution (Left) to block Fc receptors and non-specific protein and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody) (Blue). Goat Anti - Rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor® 488 was used as the secondary antibody.
Flow cytometric analysis of THP-1 (Human monocytic leukemia monocyte) labeling Rabbit monoclonal IgG Isotype after incubated for 30 min on ice in PBS (Black) compared with Human FcR Blocking Reagent at 1/100 (1 µg, 1x10^6 in 100 μL) dilution (Red) to block Fc receptors and non-specific protein and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody) (Blue). Goat Anti - Rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor® 488 was used as the secondary antibody.
If the customer uses the detection antibody with mouse species after the blocking step, please make sure to use the labeled primary antibody.
