In vitro(体外研究)
PD 168368 在人类中性粒细胞中能高效诱导 [Ca2+]I 释放，其半最大有效浓度（EC50）值为nM范围内[3]。在人类乳腺癌细胞系MDA-MB-231中，PD 168368 抑制迁移和侵袭，并通过上调E-钙黏蛋白和下调vimentin减少上皮-间充质转换（EMT）。在5μM浓度下，PD 168368 能够抑制乳腺癌细胞的迁移和侵袭性[4]。此外，在10μM浓度下，PD 168368 抑制乳腺癌细胞中mTOR/p70S6K/4EBP1及AKT/GSK-3β路径的激活[4]。
In vivo(体内研究)
在小鼠中，PD 168368 强效抑制乳腺癌的体内转移。通过腹腔注射，以每日1.2 mg/kg的剂量持续给药30天，PD 168368有效阻止了乳腺癌的转移[4]。
