In vitro(体外研究)
L-692429通过刺激细胞内钙释放、肌醇磷酸（IP）转换、cAMP响应元素结合蛋白（CREB）活性、血清反应元素活性和生物发光共振能量转移（BRET）活性，分别显示出26 nM、47 nM、60 nM、63 nM和58 nM的EC50值[2]。带有旗帜标签生长激素分泌素（GHS）受体的HeLa-T4细胞在瞬间表达后，用L-692429处理。利用钙指示剂染料fluo-3/AM进行荧光测定，测量细胞内钙释放。未转染的HeLa-T4细胞对L-692429处理无响应，而瞬时表达GHS受体的HeLa-T4细胞在L-692429处理后表现出荧光发射增加。在L-692429处理后观察到显著的荧光素酶活性升高，表明GHS受体的激活刺激了MAPK途径[1]。
In vivo(体内研究)
在麻醉的大白鼠（Wistar大白鼠）中，L-756867按剂量依赖的方式抑制由L-692429 (100 μg/kg) 所促进的GH分泌。当L-756867静脉注射剂量达到100 μg/kg时，观察到GH分泌被完全抑制[3]。
