Product Overview

TheraPEAK^® ProFreeze^® Freezing Medium, NAO, chemically defined (2X) is universally suitable for cryopreserving many cell types in the absence of fetal bovine serum (FBS).

TheraPEAK^® ProFreeze^® Freezing Medium is used to greatest advantage with cells cultured in a serum-free and animal component-free environment. This protein-free freezing medium contains no animal derived components, insulin, or hydrolysate, and maintains high cell viability upon recovery from frozen storage.

TheraPEAK^® ProFreeze^® Freezing Medium requires the addition of 15% reagent or spectrophotometric grade DMSO.

One bottle TheraPEAK^® ProFreeze^® Freezing Medium will make 117.6 ml of complete 2X concentrated freezing medium after the addition of 17.6 ml DMSO. For best results, keep on ice during use.

Storage conditions: 2°C - 8°C
