Sandwich TR-FRET immunoassay for semi-quantitative detection of Total p70 S6K in cell lysates. This kit can be used to normalize data obtained with the Phospho-p70 S6K (T389) kit. Full assay validation can be found in the Technical Data Sheet. Detailed assay protocols are described in the Generic User Manual.

Data show that treatment of MCF7 cells with Insulin stimulates phosphorylation of p70 S6K at T389, but does not affect the levels of total p70 S6K
Data show that treatment of MCF7 cells with LY294002 inhibits phosphorylation of p70 S6K at T389 by insulin, but does not affect the levels of total p70 S6K
Data show a linear relationship between lysate dilutions and TR-FRET ratio values
