In vitro(体外研究)
Trans-anethole markedly reduces neuronal cell death induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R), an in vitro model of cerebral ischemia. Thus, trans-anethole is a neuroprotective agent to ameliorate ischemic neuronal damage.
In vivo(体内研究)
Pretreatment with trans-anethole can lead to moderate protective effects against in vivo genotoxicity.
